Nehru Jacket is named after First Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru; his tenure period was 1947 to 1964. Nehru Jacket is short length apparel than Sherwani. Youth of 1960’s and 1970’s eras admired Indian people for their anti-war peaceful solutions of achieving independence of South Asia in the year of 1947 from British Rule. This trend got popular in 1964 when for the first time picture of Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru was published in Vogue magazine.
